All hell broke loose. There was fire everywhere. He knew how to dowse them but he wasn’t even trying. It was engulfing him through and through…There was smoke coming from every miniscule opening that one could find. The fire raged on, ubiquitously bringing in peace…

i have felt the same... when i eat at some of the Andhra Style restaurants... and, order for something "extra spicy"...
